Academy Award-winning actress Natalie Portman has tied the knot.
The 31-year-old married fiance Benjamin Millepied in a small Jewish ceremony in Big Sur, California, on Saturday, August 4, OnTheRedCarpet.com has confirmed.
Portman and Millepied, a 35-year-old ballet dancer and choreographer, met on the set of "Black Swan" in 2009. Check out a video of the pair getting cozy during filming.
Millepied was a choreographer for the film and also had a small role as a dancer alongside Portman's character. The actress won an Academy Award for Best Actress in the film.
In December 2010, the couple announced their engagement and Portman's pregnancy. The actress gave birth to a son, Aleph, in June 2011.
The couple first set off marriage rumors earlier this year when they were both spotted on the red carpet of the Oscars wearing rings on their left fingers, where wedding rings are traditionally worn in western cultures.
Millepied was born in France and has danced as the principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. He has choreographed several productions and was one of the choreographers of "Black Swan". Last year, he was made a Chevalier, or knight, in the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.
Portman will reportedly appear in an untitled Terrence Malick project and the upcoming "Thor" sequel, due out in 2013.
