Details and photos of Natalie Portman's wedding dress from her ceremony on August 4 are starting become public.
The 31-year-old actress tied the knot with Benjamin Millepied in a Jewish ceremony in Big Sur, California. Portman wore a dress by Rodarte, a label run by sisters Laura and Kate Mulleavy, according to People magazine. The magazine also has a photo of Portman wearing the dress.
The white dress was tea length and included a sheer overlay that covered Portman's chest and arms. Portman finished off the look with nude shoes, a floral crown and a veil.
The actress has previously worn gowns by the label at various press events and when she won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in "Black Swan" in 2011. The label also designed her tutu for that film.
Portman and Millepied, a 35-year-old ballet dancer and choreographer, met on the set of "Black Swan" in 2009. Check out a video of the pair getting cozy during filming.
Millepied was a choreographer for the film and also had a small role as a dancer alongside Portman's character.
In December 2010, the couple announced their engagement and Portman's pregnancy. The actress gave birth to a son, Aleph, in June 2011.
The couple first set off marriage rumors earlier this year when they were both spotted on the red carpet of the Oscars wearing rings on their left fingers, where wedding rings are traditionally worn in western cultures.
Millepied was born in France and has danced as the principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. He has choreographed several productions and was one of the choreographers of "Black Swan". Last year, he was made a Chevalier, or knight, in the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.
Portman will reportedly appear in an untitled Terrence Malick project and the upcoming "Thor" sequel, due out in 2013.
