Britney Spears channeled Cleopatra and Jean Harlow for in a photo shoot for her Elizabeth Arden fragrance, Fantasy Twist.
The 30-year-old singer shared a photo on Path.com of her dressed as Cleopatra on August 9 and the following day wrote, "Loving day 2 of my Elizabeth Arden Fantasy Twist fragrance shoot. Jason [Trawick] says I look like Jean Harlow!"
The fragrance is actually a combination of two of Spears' most popular fragrances - Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy. The spherical bottle will break in half, with a pink side housing Fantasy and dark blue side holding Midnight Fantasy. Fantasy Twist is slated to be released on September 1, 2012.
Spears has been endorsing fragrances for Elizabeth Arden since 2004, when they released Curious, which broke the company's first-week gross for a perfume. By 2011, she had released eight more fragrances, which became the best-selling celebrity fragrance line on the market.
Worldwide, Spears has sold over one million bottles in five years, which earned her an estimated $1.5 billion, according to MTV.
Spears has also been busy filming the upcoming second season of FOX's "The X Factor." It was announced on May 14 that Spears and Demi Lovato would join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid on the reality singing competition's judging panel, replacing Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who left the show in January.
A wedding date has not been announced for Spears and her fiance Jason Trawick, who became engaged on December 15. Trawick and Spears have been dating since the summer of 2009. Prior to that, the two had a professional relationship as Trawick was Spears' manager. The two ended their professional ties in May 2010 to "focus on their personal relationship."
In April, Trawick became Spears' co-conservator alongside the pop star's father Jamie Spears. As conservators Trawick and Jamie Spears have control over several decision-making aspects of Spears' personal life but not in managing her assets.
Spears has been under the conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears since February 2008, when she suffered a meltdown that that saw her shaving her own head at a salon (watch video). The conservatorship can be lifted once a judge and Spears' doctors agree that the singer can manage her own affairs.
