Mike Luis Rios, 42, is accused of sexually assaulting one of his call girls. Charges include rape, pimping and pandering.
Rios is also accused of trying to shoot two men outside his home after a bar fight. He is charged with attempted involuntary manslaughter.
An attempt is under way to recall Rios from the school board. He could face more than 20 years in prison if convicted of 15 felony counts stemming from the alleged criminal activity in 2011 and 2012.
Rios, who remains free on $500,000 bail, is set to appear for a post-preliminary hearing arraignment on Aug. 28.
