Police said the 19-year-old was walking his 14-year-old brother to school on East Lanzit Avenue at about 8:15 a.m. when he was approached.
They said the suspect asked the victim where he's from, and then shot him twice in the chest.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the hospital. His 14-year-old brother was able to run away.
