Comedienne Amy Schumer, recently seen on "The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne," says she had a fling with WWE star Dolph Ziggler and has revealed some steamy details about it.
Schumer, who is 31 and talks openly about sex in her standup shows, made her comments on the X-rated "Howard Stern Show" on Sirius XM Radio on Wednesday. She said the wrestler, whose real name is Nick Nemeth, first contacted her on Twitter and that the two soon began to exchange emails and talk on Skype. In April, they met in person after she performed at a comedy club in Denver.
She said they had dinner after the show and then ended up sleeping together. Schumer said the two ended up dating for about three months. She described Ziggler as "so physically flawless."
"He was so, like, in perfect shape - it didn't really feel like somebody's body to me," she said about the muscular star. "I don't need that much. It was sort of superfluous for me. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't for me. The sex was too athletic, always ... I felt so petite. He's really strong."
Ziggler, 32, has not responded publicly to her remarks. He has in recent weeks continued to praise her on Twitter and promoted her Comedy Central special, titled "Mostly Sex Stuff" on August 18.
Schumer added that when the wrestler first contacted her on Twitter, she initially ignored his messages and that he kept pursuing her, even enlisting the help of his fans. On April 7, Ziggler Tweeted: "Tell @amyschumer to follow me."
"I did just notice ? it's like 'Oh, that's light stalking,' Schumer told Stern, adding jokingly: "But he was so hot. That's the thing - when a guy's hot, it's not sexual harassment."
The comedienne told her own Twitter fans to follow Ziggler in a Tweet posted on June 29.
Schumer said she broke up with Ziggler via text message after her ex-boyfriend and fellow comic Anthony Jeselnik, who also appeared on "The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne," called her out of the blue, adding that he had bought them a trip to Mexico and that she felt relieved he had contacted her.
She said she felt bad about her breakup with Ziggler and that she still likes him and that he is a "sweetheart." She and Jeselnick are still together.
