Jesse Williams, known for playing Dr. Jackson Avery on "Grey's Anatomy," has reportedly tied the knot.
The 31-year-old actor wed his longtime girlfriend Aryn Drake-Lee, a real estate broker, in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 1, according to People Magazine. The two reportedly wed in an evening ceremony in front of friends and family.
The couple has been dating for over five years and the two first met when Williams was a teacher. The actor told USA Today about 32-year-old Drake-Lee in 2010.
"She's been with me through all different facets of my career," he said. "She's stuck with me through thick and thick and thick and thin. We know each other in and out."
Williams made his film debut in the 2008 movie "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2." He went on to appear in series like "Greek" and "Beyond the Break."
Williams recently appeared in the horror film "The Cabin in the Woods" and will soon be seen in the upcoming film "The Butler" as Rev. James Lawson.
The movie is based on the true story of Eugene Allen, a man who served as a White house employee for 34 years before his retirement in 1986. Allen saw eight first families during his time at the White House, which began in 1952.
The film will be directed by "Precious" director Lee Daniels and actor Forrest Whitaker is set to play the titular butler. Oprah Winfrey will appear as his wife. In July, it was announced that Robin Williams had been cast to play President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
