Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival on Thursday, September 6, to promote her film "On the Road."
However, it is the upcoming promotion of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" that has some outlets buzzing about public appearances she will have to make with co-star and reported ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson, but Stewart insists they are "going to be fine" during the promotional tour.
Stewart made her comment to The Associated Press on Saturday, September 8, and added "We're totally fine."
She also admitted to being nervous about hitting the red carpet at the film festival, which was the first time since photos of her and "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders hit tabloid covers in July. Stewart said in a statement to the press on July 25 that the incident was a "momentary indiscretion."
"I was a little nervous, obviously. I'm always nervous before a red carpet," Stewart told the wire service about her red carpet appearance. "To be honest, I was just kind of telling myself, like, just don't black out. Be there, don't just figuratively put your head down and barrel though it. Be there, appreciate it. Luckily, very, very much I was able to do that."
The actress stars in the film based on the infamous Jack Kerouac beat novel of the same name. Stewart plays Marylou, the 16-year-old love interest of the Dean Moriarty (played by Garrett Hedlund). Sam Riley plays Sal Paradise and the film also stars Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Elisabeth Moss and Viggo Mortensen.
Stewart missed the MTV Video Music Award on September 6 where her "Twilight Saga" cast members, including Pattinson, introduced a 90-second preview of the final "Twilight" film.
She explained that she attended the screening of "On the Road" in Toronto because, "We have been waiting for this thing to be unleashed for so long. It was sort of one of those situations where you just have to put yourself in your body and go appreciate the moment."
"On The Road" hits theaters on December 21 in the United States. Meanwhile, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" will be released on November 16. Check out the trailers for both films below.
