Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. have welcomed their second child, a baby boy.
The 35-year-old "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" actress gave birth to their son over the past week, her spokesperson told Us Weekly. The name of the couple's child was not released. They are also parents to a 3-year-old girl, Charlotte.
"Mother and baby are doing great," the spokesperson told the magazine. "And Charlotte is VERY excited to be a big sister."
Gellar and Prinze Jr., 36, met while filming the 1997 thriller "I Know What You Did Last Summer." They later appeared in two other films together - "Scooby-Doo" in 2002, the year they wed, and the sequel, "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" in 2004.
Gellar rose to fame while playing the title role on "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," which ended its run in 2003 after seven seasons and earned her a large fan following. She also starred in the movie "Cruel Intentions" in 1999.
The actress recently starred on the CW series "Ringer," playing twin sisters. The show was canceled in May after one season, which received lackluster ratings.
Prinze Jr. had a recurring role on "24" in 2010 and recently got cast in an NBC comedy pilot, Deadline.com reported in March.
