OTRC: Bobbi Kristina Brown involved in car accident? Nick Gordon Tweets explanation

Reports surfaced on Wednesday, September 26, that a car belonging to Bobbi Kristina Brown's rumored boyfriend Nick Gordon, was involved in a car accident.

According to CNN, police officers in Alpharetta, Georgia, were responding to a noise complaint at 4:14 a.m. on Monday, September 24, when they saw a Camaro sitting in the parking lot that appeared to have been in an accident.

The Camaro is believed to be registered to Gordon but that has not been verified. When officer's knocked on his door, they didn't get a response.

The police do not know where or when the accident happened and who was in the vehicle at the time.

Gordon, whose Twitter account is not verified but linked to in several of Bobbi Kristina Brown's Tweets, wrote about the incident on Wednesday, Tweeting, "Good morning everyone. Just letting you know nobody was in the car when the hit and run happened. A little sore. Media blows things up."

He added, "If I'm sore and I said nobody is in the car obviously I was in there. Y'all caught up on the wrong stuff thank god I'm ok."

Brown's attorney told CNN that Bobbi Kristina Brown was not in the car at the time the alleged accident occurred.

Brown, who is the 19-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, has been involved with Gordon since earlier this year. She previously referred to Gordon as her "adopted brother" because Houston considered Gordon to be a son, though she never legally adopted him. The singer reportedly took Gordon into her home a decade ago after learning that his birth mother could no longer care for him.

On August 8, Brown and Gordon got matching tattoos on their wrists in memory of Houston. The tattoos feature Houston's initials W and H surrounded by birds. Thursday, August 9, would have been Houston's 49th birthday.

The two also appeared together at the red carpet premiere of Houston's last on-screen appearance in the remake of the film "Sparkle," which hit theaters in August. The film starred "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks and Houston played Sparks' mother.
