Sarah Jessica Parker is set to make her "Glee" debut on an episode called "Makeover" airing on Thursday, September 27, and viewers got a glimpse of her character's first interaction with Kurt in a new clip.
In the clip, which can be seen above, Parker appears as a Vogue.com editor named Isabelle Klempt. She greets Kurt by saying like him, she is from Ohio -- Columbus to be exact. She also said she once got food poisoning at Lima's popular Italian restaurant Bread Stix.
Isabelle does a brief overview of his online resume and says she is "very impressed" by it. She also asks him about his unique fashion choices.
Parker's character is based in New York City and will interact with Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Rachel (Lea Michele).
The actress is also set to sing during the episode. It will be a mash up with Michele and Colfer of "The Way You Look Tonight" and "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile." The episode will also feature Heather Morris and Chord Overstreet covering "Celebrity Skin," which can also be seen above.
Michele gushed about getting the chance to work with Parker in an interview provided by Fox earlier this month.
"Sarah Jessica Parker, for a girl my age, she's like...it doesn't get any better than her. She played one of the most iconic roles of all time for young girls, Carrie Bradshaw," Michele said.
"What's funny though when I read the third script, which is called 'Makeover' and I read her character description and reading her character, it's so different from anything she's ever done that I completely forgot it was going to be Sarah Jessica Parker," Michele added. "I was just so excited to see this character and I really think she's going to do just an amazing job with it."
"Glee" co-creator and executive producer Ian Brennan told Access Hollywood in July that Parker's character is "sort of frazzled, eccentric and hilarious."
Like Kate Hudson, Parker has signed on to appear on the series' fourth season for multiple episodes. Her episode will air on Tuesday, September 27, at 9 p.m. on Fox.
