Patrick Stump of popular alternative rock band Fall Out Boy has tied the knot.
The musician, 28, wed his longtime girlfriend Elisa Yao in Chicago on Saturday, September 29, according to People magazine.
Stump's friend, Dan Suh, also Tweeted his congratulations to the newlywed couple on September 29.
"Congrats to @PatrickStump and elisa on a beautiful and amazing wedding!" he Tweeted.
Stump is the lead singer of the popular band who gained widespread fame with their 2005 album "From Under the Cork Tree," which featured singles such as "Sugar, We're Goin Down" and "Dance, Dance."
In 2007, the band released "Infinity on High" which also debuted a commercial success with singles such as "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" and "Thnks for th Mmrs."
While the band isn't currently active, Stump says in his Twitter bio: "Fall Out Boy never broke up; We're just not touring right now."
Stump chose a busy weekend to say his "I Do"s, with actress Anne Hathaway also reportedly walking down the aisle, as well as "Kings of Leon" bassist Jared Followill tying the knot. Stanley Tucci of "The Hunger Games" also formally wed his sweetheart, Felicity Blunt, in a ceremony that included celebrities and cheese "cake."
