OTRC: 'Revenge' - 5 spoilers about season 2 (Exclusive)

Madeleine Stowe talks to OTRC.com about season 2 of 'Revenge' at a cocktail mixer at the Lexington Social House in Los Angeles, California to celebrate ABC's fall 2012 season on September 30.

Season 2 of ABC's hit mystery drama "Revenge" has kicked off with some shockers and we've got a brand new batch of spoilers for you.

Emily Thorne, played by Emily VanCamp, found out a key character did not die in the debut season finale, as many believe, as she continues her quest to avenge the death of her father, David Clarke, and find out what happened to her mother. Meanwhile, love triangles have metamorphosed.

Check out 5 spoilers about season 2 of "Revenge," as told to George Pennacchio of KABC Television, OTRC.com's parent company. (Note: Interviews were carried out on September 30, the day of the season 2 premiere)

1. Trust no one.

"I think that your feelings about a lot of characters are going to waver," Madeleine Stowe, who plays matriarch Victoria Grayson, told OTRC.com. "That's life! Isn't it? I mean think about your family - sometimes you love 'em and sometimes you hate them. These people are just a little more extreme."

In the season 2 premiere, Thorne appeared shocked to find Victoria alive after she was presumed to have died in a plane crash. The Grayson matriarch had had a secret affair with her father. Thorne began a romance with Victoria's son, Daniel, to get closer to the family.

At the end of season 1, she learned her own mother was alive and that her fake death was part of a scheme she suspects had involved Victoria. Jennifer Jason Leigh plays Thorne's mom. Stowe, who starred with her in Robert Altman's 1993 movie "Short Cuts," remained coy about the relationship between the two "Revenge" matriarchs.

"All I can tell you is that they are connected through David Clarke," Stowe told OTRC.com. "Jennifer's an astonishing actress." (Watch a video of Madeleine Stowe's interview)

2. Nolan may find love - with a woman!

In season 1, things got hot and heavy between Emily's ally, billionaire Nolan Ross, and her then-fiance Daniel Grayson's cray cray friend Tyler Baroll, played by Ashton Holmes. Nolan declared he was "a three on the Kinsey Scale,"- suggesting he is bisexual.

In season 2, Nolan has his eye on someone new - a woman named Padma Lahari, played by Dilshad Vadsaria, who portrayed Rebecca Logan on the ABC Family series "Greek."

"I work for Nolcorp and I work with Nolan obviously and there's a little bit of a connection and then we'll see what happens after that," she told OTRC.com, adding: "He's one of the favorite characters on the show, so it's just like a big deal, especially for a fan, per say."

"I'm definitely there to give her more trouble," Mann said. "As to whether she's gonna give me that trouble back - in the world of 'Revenge,' I would say, yeah - an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, one hundred percent."

"I think some of the fun and the beauty of the show is getting to watch characters, with a certain kind of innocence, come into that world and what it does to them and how they come back out the other side," he said. "I'd love to say Dilshad ... will be exempt from that ... probably not." (Watch a video of Gabriel Mann's interview)

When asked if the love scenes have been tough, Vadsaria joked to OTRC.com: "He's a cutie, so not really." (Watch a video of Dilshad Vadsaria's interview)

Mann had told OTRC.com in July that Ross is "an equal opportunity lover."

"He'll take it where he can get it," Mann said about his character at the time. "If you're nice to him, great, come on in, bedroom's open."

3. The main love triangle in "Revenge" has turned into a love square - and there's also a little "Brangelina" to go with it.

Season 1 featured a love triangle comprised of Thorne, her childhood friend Jack Porter (who is unaware he is her childhood friend because she changed her identity) and Victoria's son, Daniel. Thorne blames Daniel's parents for framing her father for a terrorist attack and for his jailing and death. In season 2, in comes a new man in her life, Aiden Mathis, who is actually from her past.

"We've got some great additional characters ... Barry Sloane who plays Emily's new love interest so the love square .. love triangle has turned into a square - there's me, Jack and your man, Barry," Joshua Bowman, who plays Daniel, told OTRC.com. (Watch a video of Joshua Bowman's interview)

Mathis and Thorne sparred a bit during the season 2 premiere as she continued her physical training for what will likely be yet another epic act of revenge.

"The chemistry between Aiden and Emily has been interesting to watch," Sloan told OTRC.com. "It's quite fiery. It's kind of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' kind of thing, so they're both as dangerous as each other and it's been fun to play that."

"The character that I'm playing is not entirely nice," Sloane added. "But he's not entirely bad. He's got a bit of an edge to him." (Watch a video of Barry Sloane's interview)

Daniel also has a new love interest - the Grayson family assistant, Ashley Davenport, played by Ashley Madekwe. She did not seem too pleased to see Emily on the season 2 premiere.

4. Expect a "dramatic" birthing scene.

Season 2 began with a visibly frustrated Jack Porter, the real secret love of Thorne's life. His girlfriend, Amanda Clarke, who the viewers know had switched identities with Thorne, surprised him at the end of season 1 by showing up pregnant after disappearing for a while. He doesn't seem happy about becoming a dad. Will she keep the child?

"This baby is gonna be mine," Margarita Levieva, who plays Clarke, told OTRC.com. "I'm keeping it. I'm not giving it away to anyone."

"The birthing scene, she said, is "dramatic," without elaborating.

As for her character, Levieva said she hopes viewers will like Clarke more this season.

"I think we get to see the side of Amanda that the audience hasn't seen last season," she said. "I mean, yes, absolutely, she does things that I think the fans are not behind 'cause she kind of ends up getting in Emily's way. But she also has a history and there's a reason she does these things." (Watch a video of Margarita Levieva''s interview)

5. There's more "resolution" in season 2.

Madekwe said the stories in the second season of "Revenge" are being told faster.

"We're closing off questions quicker and creating new ones," she told OTRC.com, adding: "There's still mystery though. We still know nothing about me." (Watch a video of Ashley Madekwe's interview)
