PHOENIX

He unveiled the Bret Michaels Hospitality and Music Room at St. Joseph's Barrow Neurological Institute on Tuesday.

The former Poison frontman came to the hospital in April 2010 after he suffered a life-threatening stroke. The following year, he returned to the hospital to undergo a heart surgery to close a hole in his heart.

The music room is furnished with art, pieces of his personal music memorabilia and guitars. The room also features relaxation areas for patients and families.

Michaels says he has fully recovered.
