Miley Cyrus and fiance Liam Hemsworth got matching tattoos, quoting former President Roosevelt's famed 1910 speech.

Hemsworth shared photos of his fresh ink on his official Instagram account on October 10, 2012, while Cyrus got her tattoo in July.

The "Hunger Games" actor got the phrase, "if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly," which is from the same speech as Cyrus' tattoo, which reads, "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat."

Roosevelt made the infamous "Man in the Arena" speech at the Sorbonne in Paris on April 23, 1910. The full speech can be read on the Almanac of Theodore Roosevelt.

Cyrus, 19, and Hemsworth, 22, who got engaged in June, met in 2009 when they co-starred in Cyrus' film "The Last Song" and played love interests.

The pair recently filmed a music video together for Israeli DJ Borgore's single, "Decisions," which also features vocals from Cyrus.

Cyrus also recently made headlines, after her 40-year-old house intruder Jason Luis Rivera was convicted of misdemeanor trespassing and resisting arrest over an incident on September 8, according to the Associated Press.
