Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green welcomed a baby boy late last month, the actress announced on Facebook on October 17.
"We have been very lucky to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release this myself before others do," Fox wrote on her official Facebook page. "I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect."
"We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love," Fox continued. "Thanks to those of you who wish to send your positive energy and well wishes. May God bless you and your families abundantly."
The 26-year-old actress, an international sex symbol who starred in the first two "Transformers" films, and Green, a 38-year-old actor who rose to fame playing David Silver on the 1990s series "Beverly Hills, 90210," previously remained mum about pregnancy reports that say she is expecting her first child.
Rumors about the pregnancy first surfaced in March and though they never confirmed the news, Fox has been photographed with a large baby bump.
Fox was about 18 when she began dating Green. The actor has a 10-year-old son Kassius, whose mother is "General Hospital" star Vanessa Marcil. The boy served as the best man and the only witness at Green's wedding to Fox in June 2010 in Hawaii.
Fox told Cosmopolitan magazine in an interview published in its April 2012 issue that she wants "at least two, probably three" children.
"I've always been maternal," she said. "That's another thing that people probably don't assume about me."
