Lindsay Lohan called the cops on her father Michael Lohan, after he attempted to host an impromptu intervention at her Los Angeles home on Friday, October 19.

Michael Lohan said that his daughter called the police to report his trespassing, but insists that others in his daughter's life believe she needs help - including someone he referred to as Lindsay's boyfriend. Shortly after making this statement, his daughter denied having a boyfriend, on Twitter.

"Lindsay needs help. She's around all the wrong people," Michael Lohan told Radar Online. "I'm not going to stand for this anymore. She has to get better. I'm not going to watch my daughter die."

Lohan's father did not specify what he thought his daughter was doing, but told E! Online that he was worried she had relapsed. The 26-year-old actress has been to rehab three times in the past.

Lohan recently said that her father is "dead to her" after he leaked a private conversation where the actress complained about her mother taking a $40k loan and insinuated that Dina Lohan was using cocaine. She later denied that her mother was using drugs and slammed her father for giving the conversation to TMZ.

"As a man, you don't do this to your child," Lohan told TMZ of her father. "I'm ashamed for him. It is hurtful for me that he has chosen this road again.... He doesn't know what it means to be a father. He doesn't want to be a dad."

Lohan is recently finished filming "The Canyons," based on a book by Bret Easton Ellis. The "American Psycho" author recently sparked headlines after joking that Lohan had skipped her ADR, or additional dialogue recording.

"Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan's hotel to confront her as to why she missed her (expletive) ADR on 'The Canyons' today," Ellis Tweeted on October 17.

Lohan's rep Steve Honig and "Canyons" producer Braxton Pope told E! News that Lohan had not missed anything, but had to reschedule recording to promote her upcoming Lifetime TV movie, "Liz & Dick."
