Taylor Swift might have inspiration for a new album. The hit singer is reportedly single again.
Swift has split with boyfriend Conor Kennedy, according to Us Weekly. The magazine cites a "close friend" of Swift's who claims that the two "parted ways a while ago" due to distance.
Swift, 22, and Kennedy, 18, were first linked together in late July. Kennedy is the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy. The two never confirmed their relationship but were photographed together several times, occasionally being affectionate in front of the cameras.
Swift has been out on a media tour to promote her latest album "Red," which was released on October 22. The album features her hit single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
The singer said the song was about her "lovely ex-boyfriend." She did not reveal which ex-boyfriend inspired the song.
It was also recently announced that Swift will perform at the 2012 American Music Awards. Other performers include Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera and Linkin Park. The show will air live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, November 18 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
On Wednesday, Swift released a new music video for the single "Begin Again."
"I think we've all had that day where we just decide to wander around and think about things," Swift told MTV news on October 23. "It's like a love letter to Paris."
