Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi opened up about being a new mom in her first live post-birth interview on the "Today" show on Wednesday, October 24.

The "Jersey Shore" star appeared on the morning show alongside her fiance Jionni LaValle and talked about how she's changed since welcoming her son on August 26. The interview can be viewed below.

"It's crazy 'cause, you know me, I always wanted to have a good time," she said. "'Where's the next party? What am I going to do tonight?' And now it's just like, you know, 'I love my baby. What can we do with him?' It's just totally different."

LaValle added, "She's a great mom."

Lorenzo made his debut to the public on the cover of People magazine on September 17. He is the first child for Polizzi, 24, and LaValle. LaValle also revealed that Polizzi wanted to look good, even when she was about to give birth.

"She wanted to look good," he said. "You know, makeup, lipstick, everything. I said, 'Nicole, you're giving birth!'"

As for whether Lorenzo will be featured on any of Polizzi's reality shows, the couple said that they're comfortable with the idea of him appearing on programs for now but that will likely change once little Lorenzo starts school.

"Right now it's fine, while he's this young," LaValle said. "But once school starts, when he gets a little older, I kind of want him to branch off from that. Nicole can do what she has to do ... I kind of just want him to live like a normal lifestyle."

"We want him to have a normal life where he goes to school, you know, has friends, girlfriends," Snooki added. "I want him to have the learning experiences that we did growing up. So I want it to be as normal as possible."

Polizzi called the end of "Jersey Shore," which is currently in its final season, "bittersweet." However, it won't be the last time viewers will see Polizzi on a reality show. She's signed on for a second season of the "Jersey Shore" spin-off show "Snooki & JWoww" with cast member Jennifer "JWoww" Farley.
