Kelly Monaco and her "Dancing With The Stars" partner Val Chmerkovskiy denied that they're sleeping together, but kept coy about the dating rumors.
"[The most asked question about us is] 'Are you guys having sex?' What do you think?" Monaco told OTRC.com after the October 29 episode. "That would be so unprofessional."
"No, we're not," Chmerkovskiy said definitively. "We've been spending time every day together for the past three months."
The pair have sparked romance rumors since their first on-screen appearance together when it was apparent that their chemistry was spot-on. In their first interview with OTRC.com, they joked about having mutual crushes on each other.
"Well, we are technically married right now," Monaco thought out loud. "And we go on dates... So yeah, it depends on how you want to interpret it."
The pair also had a memorable kiss at the end of their routine. When asked whether it was planned or whether Chmerkovskiy was caught up in the moment, the professional dancer said it was a little bit of both.
"We hadn't practiced [the kiss], so it was very spontaneous, like the slap," Chmerkovskiy said. "So she slapped me with a lot of passion, so I was like, 'All right, I guess I have to return the favor' and slapped her with a kiss."
The actress, who portrays Sam McCall on "General Hospital," and Chmerkovskiy are currently at the bottom of the leader board, with 78.5 points out of 90 for their last two weeks on the show. The pair must depend on fan votes in order to stay in the reality dancing competition."Clearly, it's going to be solely on a fan vote," Monaco said. "That's the only way that Val and I are going to continue in the competition, it's just how the numbers are. Our fans need to show their support and vote, that's it... we might lose some fans to a better dance. But I don't think so."
Monaco, who is also a former Playboy Playmate, won the first season of "Dancing With The Stars" in 2005. She went on to appear in the burlesque act, "Peepshow" at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas in 2009 and was eventually replaced by Holly Madison.
Monaco broke up with her high school sweetheart, Michael Gonzalez in 2009, after dating for 18 years. She got closure from the "toxic" relationship on an episode of E! Network's "Dirty Soap," when her "General Hospital" co-star Kirsten Storms convinced her to burn her prom dress.
Only 8 pairs remain on "Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars." Who do you think will win and who will go home next? Vote in our polls below.
