Incumbent Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein wins re-election

Incumbent Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) won re-election Tuesday night, defeating Republican challenger Elizabeth Emken.

At 11:30 p.m. Pacific Time, approximately 40 percent of precincts had reported. With 40 percent reporting, Feinstein won with about 3,077,437 votes, about 59 percent of the vote. Emken garnered about 2,115,756 votes, approximately 41 percent.
