Bodies tumble, pile up and fall in the new film "World War Z," a new action film about a zombie apocalypse, starring Brad Pitt.
The 48-year-old actor plays hero Gerry Lane, a UN employee who is trying to protect his wife, played by Mireille Enos, and daughters, portrayed by Sterling Jerins and Abigail Hargrove, from the walking dead, who appear to be taking over the world.
Judging from the trailer, which was released this week, expect giant explosions, air raids and disaster film-type mass destruction - namely of New York City.
"World War Z," which is based on Max Brooks' novel by the same name, also stars Matthew Fox of "LOST" fame, last seen in "Alex Cross,", David Morse and James Badge Dale.
The movie is set for released on June 21, 2013. Damon Lindelof, co-creator of ABC's "LOST," co-wrote the script with "Lions for Lambs" writer Matthew Michael Carnahan. The director of "World War Z" is Marc Forster, who helmed films such as the Johnny Depp movie "Finding Neverland" and the 2008 James Bond film "Quantum of Solace."
