Selena Gomez spent some time on Monday at a hospital emergency room in Los Angeles to undergo tests and seek treatment for a throat ailment, a report says.
The 20-year-old pop singer, who has been making headlines recently due to a recent breakup with longtime boyfriend Justin Bieber, had a day earlier ended a recording session earlier than planned "because her throat was bothering her," E! Online quoted an unnamed source as saying, adding: "Also, her stepfather has had bronchitis so she wanted to be extra careful to make sure she wasn't getting it, too."
A paparazzi photo of the singer leaving what appears to be a medical center was also posted by E! Online. Gomez's spokesperson had no immediate comment about the report.
The singer attended an American Music Awards after party with Bieber on Sunday night, as seen in paparazzi photographs. She has not commented about her current relationship status or speculation from fans that the two are back together.
