As James Bond, he's licensed to kill, and according to a report, "Skyfall" actor Daniel Craig is licensed to drive ... in New York.

The 44-year-old British actor recently obtained a New York State driver's license after passing a written test, a five-hour driving course and a road test -- all the requirements for foreigners, the New York Post reported.

The actor has not commented about the report.

The newspaper quoted a manager at a Manhattan driving school as saying that Craig took the driving course alone, by special request, and called him "such a nice dude" and "so friendly." The outlet added that the actor took his road test in the New York City borough of Staten Island.

Foreigners can drive with their foreign driver's licenses in New York but must obtained a local one if they plan to become a resident of the state. It is unclear if Craig plans to do so. He and actress Rachel Weisz married in upstate New York in 2011 and have a home in New York City.

"Skyfall," the 23rd James Bond movie and the third starring Craig as the lead super spy, has earned more than $685 million worldwide since its release. It hit theaters on November 9 in the United States and has made more than $178 million domestically so far. Check out 5 facts about Daniel Craig, his "Skyfall" character and the film.
