'Twilight' leads record weekend with $64M

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" remained in the top spot, according to studio estimates. The movie earned another $64 million over the five day stretch, raising its domestic total to $227 million.

Meanwhile, James Bond and Abraham Lincoln also helped to break the Thanksgiving revenue record. "Skyfall", starring Daniel Craig, came in second with $51 million. Stephen Spielberg's civil war saga, "Lincoln", finished third with $34 million. "Rise of The Guardians" came in fourth hauling in $24 million over the weekend and "Life of Pi" came in fifth with $22 million.

The top 10 films of the weekend:

1. "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," $43.1 million.
2. "Skyfall," $36 million.
3. "Lincoln," $55 million.
4. "Rise of the Guardians," $24 million.
5. "Life of Pi," $22 million.
6. "Wreck-It Ralph," $16.8 million.
7. "Red Dawn," $14.6 million.
8. "Flight," $8.6 million.
9. "Silver Linings Playbook," $4.6. million.
10. "Argo," $3.9 million.
