Cee Lo Green stars with the Muppets in the new Christmas-themed music video "All I Need Is Love," which features a muppet made in his likeness, Lo-Co, as well as a guest appearance from "The Office" actor Craig Robinson.
The fast-paced song samples the Muppet's "Mahna Mahna" tune and is on Green's "Magic Moment" album, the "Voice" coach and R&B star's first Christmas record, which was released last month.
In the clip, the singer arrives at the Muppet's home in his stylin' Rolls Royce and parties with the likes of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Swedish Chef and his chicken, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Gonzo and Beaker, who samples some punch that likely packs one as well. When asked what he wants for Christmas, Green replies: "All I Need Is Love."
After Santa, played by Robinson, enters the house from the chimney, the muppet Walter, who made his debut in the 2011 movie "The Muppets," says: "I knew it, I knew it - you're real!"
"Of course I'm real, Walter," Santa replies, as Walter records him on a smartphone. "You got Santa in your heart, you got Santa in your home."
"So Santa's my homie?" Walter asks.
"Yeah," he replies. "I'm your homie."
And what would a Muppets video be without snarky commentators Statler and Waldorf?
I think the Muppets hit a new low," Statler says.
Yeah, and his first name is Cee!" Waldorf replies.
The music video's director is Marc Klasfeld, who also directed clips for songs such as Fun's "We Are Young," Jay-Z's "Girls, Girls, Girls," Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" and Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)."
Green is set to perform with the Muppets, including Green's doppelganger, Lo-Co, on "The Voice" on Tuesday, November 27. The episode airs on NBC at 8 p.m. ET. Green and Kermit will sing a duet of the Muppets classic ballad "Bein' Green."
"Performing 'Bein' Green' with Kermit the Frog has been an idea and dream of mine for years now and it will definitely remain on the top of my most memorable collaborations!' Green said in a statement provided by NBC. "I'm honored to share another magical, musical moment with The Muppets."
The singer had also performed with The Muppets -- and Gwyneth Paltrow -- at the 2011 Grammy Awards and also sang with the characters at a concert at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on October 10.
Green's Christmas album also features a duet of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" with fellow "Voice" coach Christina Aguilera" as well as the song "Merry Christmas, Baby," featuring Rod Stewart and Trombone Shorty.
