OTRC: Film Independent Spirit Awards 2013: Full list of nominations

The full list of nominees for the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards were announced on Tuesday, November 27, and "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Moonrise Kingdom" tied for the most nods with five each.

Both movies received nominations for Best Feature. Directors David O. Russell and Wes Anderson each received nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay with Anderson sharing the latter nod with screenwriter Roman Coppola.

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper were both recognized for their work in "Silver Linings Playbook," while Matthew McConaughey scored two acting nominations -- one for Best Male Lead for his role in "Killer Joe" and another for Best Supporting Male for "Magic Mike."

"The nominations this year represent an astonishingly strong group of artists both in front of and behind the camera," Film Independent Co-president Josh Welsh said in a statement. "At Film Independent, we nurture artist-driven filmmaking all year long and I can't imagine a more fitting or worthy group of films to celebrate here today."

The 28th annual Film Independent Spirit Awards ceremony will air on February 23 at 10 p.m. ET on IFC. Check out the full list of nominations below.
