The robbery took place around 11:37 p.m. Thanksgiving Day on the 1200 block of Maricopa Highway. Authorities said the victim walked away from the ATM when a man armed with a handgun approached and demanded money.
The victim gave cash to the suspect, who then fled the scene. The suspect, only described as a Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s, was believed to be associated with a light-colored SUV.
