Talk show host Wendy Williams has become the latest celebrity to strip down for PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign.
One ad shows her lying naked on her side, while another features a closer shot of her face and also showcases her lower stomach tattoo. In both pictures, Williams' chest is covered by what she called her "fantasy hair," a 28-inch-long wig custom-built by her hairstylist specifically for the PETA campaign. "I have a little, you know, jiggle," Williams says in a video interview provided by PETA. "But jiggle is what separates the men from the women and if this is a sexy ad then I must tell you -- jiggle is sexy."
Williams said she has worn clothing made out of real fur in the past but has "not really given fur any thought for a good seven years," adding: "Well, I really don't think that fur is, first of all, the market success anymore. As a decent person with compassion, it just seems like the right thing to support."
"What I would have say to people who currently wear furs is softly suggest to keep your mind open and do your research and if you never come around, I still love you," she added. "And besides, for people who enjoy the fur look, there are plenty of faux fur options."
On Wednesday, Williams revealed one of her PETA ads before a cheering crowd in Times Square in New York City.
"I told you I don't wear Spanx," she joked.
