Nick Lachey was expelled from a Cincinatti Bengals game and ranted about the incident on his official Twitter account.

"Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn't be prouder! Go Cincy Bengals," Lachey Tweeted on December 3.

Lachey, 39, attended the Bengals-Chargers football game in San Diego and according to a report published by TMZ, the Cincinnati native was removed when his excessive trash talking "crossed the line." The website has video of the incident.

Lachey took to his official Twitter account to clear up the "trash talking" accusations.

"For the record, i was not kicked out of the chargers game for excessive 'trash talking'. no, that honor belonged to the guy in front of me!" he Tweeted.

"i simply don't appreciate someone turning around and putting their finger in my face. call me crazy, but that deserved a reaction," he added in a separate Tweet.

His spokesperson later said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com: "This was a verbal exchange between sports fans of opposing teams that went too far. While Nick isn't proud of what happened, he did not choke anyone or use defamatory language to any women at the stadium -- which the video tape clearly supports."

"Nick and his friends were interviewed by police outside the stadium and quickly released with no charges filed," the rep added. "We categorically deny any accusations that say otherwise and would defend against those claims should they arise."

While the exact cause of his ejection is unclear, it doesn't seem that Lachey holds too many hard feelings against Charger fans, having Tweeted a photo of himself and a young fan (above), as well as adding in a separate Tweet that they are "some of the nicest fans around."

In the end, Lachey's team was victorious, and while he couldn't express his excitement over the win at the game, he did take the time to share it with his over 200,000 followers.

"Bengals win again," he Tweeted. "i'd talk trash to everyone in SD, but what's the point? you already had me kicked out of the stadium and you still lost."

Lachey, known for being a member of popular '90s boy-band 98 Degrees, recently welcomed his first child, a son named Camden John, with wife Vanessa Minnillo. The pair wed in July 2009.
