OTRC: Fleetwood Mac announces 2013 tour after 3-year hiatus - see dates

Stevie Nicks talks to OTRC.com at the premiere of 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Nov. 12, 2012.

Fleetwood Mac is set to embark on a worldwide tour following the group's 3-year hiatus.

The Grammy-award winning group, known for hit songs such as "Dreams" and "Landslide," has announced that they'll be setting off on a global tour starting in Columbus, Ohio on April 4th, and wrapping in Detroit on June 12. The tour marks the first for the band since 2009.

"It's the perfect time to go back out," Stevie Nicks told Rolling Stone. "2013 is going to be the year of Fleetwood Mac."

In August 2011, Nicks toured the United States in support of her seventh studio album, "In Your Dreams," which was her first solo record in 10 years. Fleetwood Mac's last studio album was the 2003 record, "Say You Will."

In July, Stevie Nicks told CBS that the group would be reuniting in 2013, saying that "it's the plan, because that's what we do," referring to she and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham's solo endeavors.
