Jamie Foxx hosted "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday, December 8, channeling his funny side to play Tyler Perry and a human snack cake... yes, a snack cake.
Foxx, 44, hosted the NBC sketch comedy series almost 13 years after his initial hosting gig, which was in 2000. The actor, singer-songwriter and stand-up comedian portrayed a number of interesting characters, including a former porn star and a sassy bailiff, as well as putting his singing skills on display.
In one segment, the actor appeared as Tyler Perry in a movie trailer for "Tyler Perry's Alex Cross 2 ? Madea: Special Ops," which is a buddy cop drama where Perrry (Fox) plays both Madea and the young male Alex in one body (Video below).
In the popular "Weekend Update" segment, Foxx appears as a "ding dong," a human version of the popular hostess snack. In the playful skit, Foxx confesses he's jealous of his "snack brother from another batter," the Twinkie (Video below).
The episode featured guest appearances by breakout rap star 2 Chainz, actor Dermot Mulroney and musical guest Ne-Yo.
