Paul McCartney is set to hit the stage in a big way on 12-12-12.

The Beatle is set to front a Nirvana reunion performance as part of the "12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief," according to People magazine.

McCartney, 70, would reportedly be taking the place of the late frontman, Kurt Cobain, and singing with former Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, according to the magazine. The gathering comes 18 years after Cobain took his own life at age 27.

The one-night-only live music event aims to provide assistance to millions of people who were affected by Hurricane Sandy's devastation through the Robin Hood Relief Fund. The highly-anticipated concert takes place on December 12 at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden, and is set to be broadcast to some 2 billion people worldwide.

The night is set to feature performances from a variety of acclaimed artists including Alicia Keys, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Kanye West, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters and The Who.

According to the concert's official Facebook page, the show is set to feature a number of personalities as well, including Steve Buscemi, Billy Crystal, Sean Combs, Adam Sandler, Susan Sarandon, Jon Stewart, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessica Chastain, Jimmy Fallon and Quentin Tarantino.

You can watch the concert LIVE on OTRC.com on your computer, iPad, iPhone or other mobile device as well as on the Live Well Network and a slew of TV channels around the world.
