Busy Philipps recently opened up about season 4 of her comedy show, "Cougar Town," as well as her recently announced pregnancy.

Philipps, who caught up with OTRC.com after announcing the nominations for the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards, stars on the TBS comedy "Cougar Town" which is set to air its fourth season on January 8, 2013. The actress gushed about the show's new home on TBS, and why people should tune in.

"January 4th, TBS - I think it's 10 p.m.," Philipps told OTRC.com on December 12. "I'm so excited for the show to come back - TBS has been super great to us."

"I'm just so thrilled to have this chance on this network," she continued. "I hope we get a lot of new viewers checking it out, the re-runs are going to be starting so people can catch up and check in with the cul-de-sac crew - it's not about cougars, y'all, I don't want to say it again. It's about fun people that drink wine, and play games, watch movies - you'll like it, just trust me, it's funny."

The series features Philipps as Laurie Keller, an adorably immature woman who is friends with Courteney Cox's character, Jules Cobb.

The show ended its third season with Jules (Cox) and Grayson (Josh Hopkins) deciding to run to Napa to elope to escape the madness and chaos of Jules' eccentric friends. However, the cul-de-sac crew finds out, and decides to come for the ride. Along the way, there's a change of plans, and Jules and Grayson get married in a moving wedding ceremony on the beach. At the beginning of the season finale episode, the words "I hope this is not the series finale" flashed on the screen.

In May, it was announced that the comedy series was moving to the cable channel TBS, which commands a smaller audience than its original network ABC. Ratings for the third season were lower than previous years.

Just one day before talking to OTRC, Philipps announced that she is expecting baby No. 2 with husband Marc Silverstein. Philipps announced the news on her Twitter account on December 10.

"So this happened..." she Tweeted alongside a corresponding photo of a positive pregnancy test stick featuring the word "Pregnant" on a digital display, sitting on what appears to be a woolen surface.

It is unclear when the test was taken. The actress' rep confirmed the pregnancy to OTRC.com and when asked about it, Philipps herself joked on Wednesday: "That's happening, right?"

Busy and her husband, a screenwriter, already share 4-year-old daughter Birdie Leigh.

Philipps is known for her work in films such as "White Chicks" and "Home Room," as well as shows such as "Dawson's Creek" and her current project, "Cougar Town."
