Armed suspects sought in Santa Monica Jack in the Box robbery

SANTA MONICA, Calif.

The incident occurred Tuesday, Dec. 18 around 3:55 a.m at a Jack in the Box located at 802 Santa Monica Boulevard. Police said the suspects forced an employee and a customer into the restaurant's walk-in freezer at knifepoint. The suspects then ordered the remaining employee to open the cash register before ordering him into the freezer.

The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a late model gold Chevrolet Suburban.

The robbers were described as three Hispanic males, standing between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 10 inches. They were last seen wearing black ski masks, dark-colored jackets, blue jeans, and gloves. One of the three suspects was armed with a knife.
