Janet Jackson is reportedly engaged to her boyfriend Wissam Al Mana, a billionaire from Qatar, although the singer has not confirmed the news.

According to Us Weekly magazine, which carried the report on Wednesday, December 26, Mana, 37, gave the 46-year-old "huge, expensive ring" earlier this year and that the two plan to wed in the spring in a multi-million dollar ceremony in his native country. A spokesperson for Jackson had no immediate comment.

If the two tie the knot, it would mark Jackson's third marriage.

Mana and Jackson, who was in 2007 worth $150 million, according to Forbes, have been dating for more than two years. In October 2010, he and Jackson were also rumored to have gotten engaged. The singer denied this, in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America." The National Enquirer tabloid has reported at least three times since April 2011 that the couple planned to marry in his country.

Mana is an executive at the Qatar-based, family-run Al Mana Group, which operates businesses in the automotive, computer, construction and fashion fields. He helps run the Al Mana Luxury Company, which represents brands such as Chloe, Christian Dior, A/X Armani Exchange, Stella McCartney Limited and Balenciaga.

In October 2010, he and Jackson attended the John Galliano Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show, with Galliano himself, during Paris Fashion Week at Opera Comiquein Paris, France (see photo).

Jackson previously dated record producer Jermaine Dupri. The two called it quits in 2009.

Jackson married for the first time in 1984. She and R&B singer James DeBarge eloped when she was 18 years old. They called it quits and had their marriage annulled after eight months, with some persuasion from A&M record executive John McClain, according to People magazine, which said he had feared the marriage would have a negative impact on her music career, which was in its early stages.

In 1991, Jackson married Rene Elizondo, also a singer. He filed for divorce in 2000. It was finalized three years later following a dispute over spousal support. Forbes said he reportedly received about $10 million in a divorce settlement.
