Police say Joshua MiKulay, of Tustin, had a gun and demanded cash from some people arriving for work at a business in the 7500 block of Santa Rita Circle.
When officers arrived, MiKulay took off in the car. He later jumped out and ran near Stanton Park.
Authorities eventually caught him near a McDonald's, and he was arrested after a short struggle. MiKulay faces several charges including attempted armed robbery and car theft.
The gun allegedly used in the crime has not been located. If anyone finds a firearm in the area they are asked to contact the Garden Grove Police Department at (714) 741-5704.
