The vandalism occured in the neighborhood below Ventura College, between Estates and Ashwood avenues.
Police received several calls Friday from car owners who woke up to find their cars keyed. When officers arrived on scene, they found that 14 cars had been keyed. Some victims had derogatory statements carved into their vehicle's paint.
Investigators said this kind of vandalism appeared to have been random in nature.
