The comedian, whose real name is Micah Williams, was arrested on a felony charge, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. News reports Williams was arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment.

A video posted on TMZ (Warning: Video contains explicit language) shows Williams on December 29, talking about the incident to the photographer. Williams said the authorities "took my children from me" at his office. Williams said in the video that he has adopted seven children.

Williams has had several legal problems in recent weeks. Last week police detained him briefly and issued him a ticket for a parking violation in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles.

Williams is known for his role as Money Mike in the film "Friday After Next." He has appeared on TV shows, including "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out," "The Tracy Morgan Show," "My Wife and Kids" and "NYPD Blue."
