Jennifer Lawrence had quite a whirlwind year, and is topping it off by appearing on the cover of Marie Claire South Africa donning a semi-revealing metallic dress which features cutouts that put her undergarments on display.
The starlet, 22, talked to the magazine for the January 2013 issue about her anti-dieting views, how she physically prepares for movie roles and why the title "celebrity" doesn't faze her.
"I don't really diet. I'm miserable when I do," the actress told Marie Claire South Africa. "I like the way I look. I'm really sick of all these actresses looking like birds."
"I'd rather look a little chubby on camera and look like a person in real life, than look great on screen and look like a scarecrow in real life," she continued. "I want to punch people who say, 'I like exercising.' But it's nice being in shape for a movie, because they basically do it all for you. It's like, 'Here's your trainer.'"
The actress may not be pro-dieting, but the starlet does follow a strict exercise regimen in preparing for her films.
"Prepping for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,' I do three workouts a day -- stunts, yoga and weights," she told the magazine. "I do exercise. But I don't diet. You can't work when you're hungry, you know?"
The actress has spoken out about weight and diet a number of times, telling Seventeen in March that she remembers when "pretending to have an eating disorder was cool," saying: "I thought it was crazy. I went home and told my mom, 'Nobody's eating bread - I just had to finish everyone's burgers.'"
In November, the starlet talked to Elle magazine about Hollywood's skewed view of weight, commenting: "In Hollywood, I'm obese."
Lawrence, who starred as Katniss Everdeen in the highly-anticipated action-adventure film "The Hunger Games," went on to explain to Marie Claire South Africa why the hype and buzz surrounding being a "celebrity" doesn't intimidate her.
"Celebrity is such a simple predictable thing," Lawrence continued. "I'm not in awe of it. It makes complete sense. You have a job where people recognize you and they think you are not human. I do the same thing. At the Golden Globe luncheon I met John Travolta and almost threw up. So it's understandable to me. I'm not freaked out by it. I just move on with my life."
Lawrence appeared alongside Bradley Cooper in the 2012 comedy romance film "Silver Linings Playbook," which saw the actress portraying a mysterious, troubled girl named Tiffany.
The drama film, which is receiving a great deal of Oscar buzz, earned the actress a Golden Globe nomination for her performance. The 2012 Golden Globes ceremony airs on NBC on January 15 (Check out a full list of 2013 Golden Globe nominations).
In October, it was announced that the actress was the new face of Miss Dior. The actress is set to appear in the spring/summer 2013 Miss Dior handbag advertising campaign, which is expected to debut worldwide in March 2013. This marks the first collaboration between Lawrence and a luxury brand.
In 2010, Lawrence received her breakout role in the mystery drama film "Winter's Bone," which earned the actress an Oscar nomination in the Best Actress category for 2011.
Following that film, the starlet appeared as Mystique in "X-Men: First Class," and is set to reprise her role in the upcoming 2014 installment, "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
