Hillary Clinton to return to work next week

WASHINGTON

Clinton was released from the hospital Wednesday after being treated for a blood clot in her head stemming from a fall. She is currently resting at home.

A spokeswoman said Clinton, 65, has been speaking with senior staff and is "sounding terrific, upbeat and raring to go." A date for her return to work has not been set.

While at home recuperating from a stomach virus last month, Clinton became dehydrated and fainted, fell and struck her head, leading to a concussion, her spokesman said.

Doctors said Clinton was expected to make a full recovery from the blood clot.
