New set for new 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' time slot

LOS ANGELES

Jimmy plans to continue his late night talk show fun the way he has for almost 10 years now. He hasn't changed. But his set has, at least a little, and Jimmy says it cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

"It seems almost exactly the same to me, I'll be honest with you," said Jimmy. "There's no stage, really. It's all flat now, which is a little bit odd. I don't like changes, you know, so it's going to take some getting used to for me."

The set is getting its finishing touches for Tuesday night's show. Jimmy's good friend Jennifer Aniston will be his first guest. And the first musical guest in the new time slot is the band No Doubt.

Jimmy is happy with his new place in late night.

"I don't feel that nervous about it," said Jimmy. "I feel pretty calm about it. But I don't know, there are a few Nervous Nellies around here, but I think everyone feels pretty confident."

Jimmy will continue to push the envelope, like he has in the current issue of "Rolling Stone Magazine." The cover reveals a little more of Jimmy than you're used to seeing.

"Well, you know, when you have a body like this, you like to flaunt it, and the ladies appreciate it," said Jimmy.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" at 11:35 p.m. begins Tuesday. "Nightline" will follow "Kimmel" at 12:35.
