Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is getting his own reality series.
Lochte, 28, is set to star in his own six-episode reality series, "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" on the E! Network. The show, which is set to feature the swimmer living his day to day life, will follow Lochte as he develops his fashion line, socializes with family and friends and prepares for the 2016 Olympics.
The "docu-series" is set to premiere in April 2013.
"Ryan Lochte captured everyone's attention at the Summer Olympics with his athletic prowess and his utterly unique and unaffected approach to life," E! Entertainment President Suzanne Kolb said in a statement. "He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun. Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: they want to be him, sleep with him or mother him."
The show is set to include Lochte's family, including his mother, Ike, his older married sisters Kristen and Megan, his younger brother and roommate Devon, and his nephews. The series will also showcase his tough coach and trainer, Gregg Troy.
The Olympic swimmer re-Tweeted E! News' announcement of the show on January 7, to which he added: "Excited for you all to see!"
This isn't Lochte's first go-round on the small screen, having recently guest starred on the hit NBC comedy "30 Rock" alongside Tina Fey in October. Around the same time, the swimmer also had a short, walk-on role for the CW series "90210."
In September, the Olympic gold medalist also covered New York Fashion Week for E! News as an on-camera correspondent.
During the Olympics, Lochte expressed interest in becoming the next contestant on ABC's dating reality series, "The Bachelor." He also said that he would like to appear on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars."
