During the announcement, MacFarlane showcased his edgy sense of humor while announcing the Best Foreign Language Film, saying: "Amour" was co-produced in Austria and Germany and the last time Austria and Germany got together and co-produced something, it was Hitler, but this was much better."

"So much better," Stone replied.

The nominees included films such as "Lincoln" and "Life of Pi." MacFarlane got his own first Oscar nod as well -- he is co-nominated for Best Original Song for "Everybody Needs A Best Friend" from the movie "Ted," an R-rated comedy film he directed, which stars Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis and features a talking, potty-mouthed, perverted and often hilarious teddy bear.

After announcing the Oscar nominations, MacFarlane chatted with OTRC.com special correspondent George Pennacchio of KABC Television and answered 6 questions. Check out the interview below.

1. We are in for absolutely anything on Oscar Sunday, aren't we?

"Don't set your expectations too high."

2. I know that you have taken singing lessons in your life. Does that mean that you'll sing on Oscar Sunday?

"You know I can't give anything away but I mean, my God, you've got a big orchestra there. It'd be a shame not to do something, right?"

3. You also kind of, I think, could transform yourself into a James Bond type. They'll be honoring 007. Might you take the stage as Bond?

"You're talking to a big-time nerd here, I don't think they'd accept that."

4. So tell me what you were like at 10, 12, 14 years old on Oscar Sunday.

"Exactly as you see me now -- hair meticulously done, fully pressed suit, all made up. I was exactly like this."

5. Who's in the most danger of a Seth MacFarlane firing squad of comedy?

"You know, I think Abraham Lincoln better watch out, you know? I mean, we're really going to give it to him right in the head. This is live TV. Boy, that's terrible."

6. When you hear the nominations, is there one title that you said, 'Yes!' or one name that you said, 'Oh, this will be fun'?

"'Life of Pi' has got to have something there, right? What's kinda cool is that it's one of the first Oscars I remember in a while where it's really a contest, it's actually, there's a lot of questions. It's not a clear-cut case at all what's ... going to sweep the ceremony."
