Evan Rachel Wood is pregnant with her first child.

The 25-year-old actress and her husband, 26-year-old actor Jamie Bell, are expecting their first child together. The actress' spokesperson confirmed the news to The Associated Press and said Wood and Bell are "thrilled."

Wood wrote on her official Twitter page on Friday, January 11, "Thanks for all your warm wishes. We are very happy. I'm gonna be a mama!"

The couple tied the knot in a small ceremony in California on October 30, 2011. The two met in 2005 when they co-starred in Green Day's music video for "Wake Me Up When September Ends" ( watch the official video here). They dated for a year and got matching tattoos before splitting up in 2006. They reunited last summer, after Wood broke off her engagement from Marilyn Manson.

In December 2011, Wood called Bell her soul mate, Tweeting a photo of a Christian Louboutin shoe box and Nintendo "Zelda" cartridge and writing, "You know you've found your soul mate when they give you shoes and Nintendo games for Christmas."

Wood, who had a breakout role in the 2003 film "Thirteen," is best known for appearing in movies like "Across the Universe" and the hit HBO series "True Blood." In 2011, she played Veda Pierce in the Emmy nominated HBO miniseries "Mildred Pierce" and has also starred in films such as "The Wrestler," "The Ides of March" and "The Conspirator."

Bell rose to fame in the 2000 Oscar-nominated film "Billy Elliot" and has since appeared in films like "The Chumscrubber," "Jumper," "Jane Eyre" and "The Adventures of Tintin." The British actor will next appear opposite Shia LaBeouf and Charlotte Gainsbourg in Lars von Trier's "Nymphomaniac."
