Megan Fox has quit Twitter after just a week. The 26-year-old actress explained why on her official Facebook page on Thursday, January 10.
Fox joined Twitter on January 3 and snagged her username @MeganFox on January 4, she announced on her Facebook page.
However, by January 9, the actress said she didn't understand the appeal of the social networking site.
She Tweeted to over 261,000 of her followers, "5 days on Twitter and I have yet to discern it's purpose. #WhatIsThePoint ???"
The following day, Fox wrote on her official Facebook page that she has given up on using the network.
"Some of you may, or may not have noticed by now that my Twitter account has been shut down...I thought that 2013 might be the year that I finally blossomed into a social networking butterfly... but as it turns out I still hate it," she wrote. However, Fox's Twitter account remains intact.
She later added, "Love you guys but I will just never be that girl. Facebook is as much as I can handle. #I'm Sorry."
Fox, who married husband Brian Austin Green in June 2010 in Hawaii, gave birth to her first child in September. The actress and Green welcomed a son named Noah. The baby is the second child for Green, who has a 10-year-old son Kassius with his ex, "General Hospital" star Vanessa Marcil.
Fox is known for her role in the first two "Transformers" films and recently had a role in the Judd Apatow film "This Is 40." See the trailer below.
