The 13 misdemeanor charges include spousal battery, criminal threats and assault with a deadly weapon. They stem from five separate incidents last year and in 2011.
Bradley is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 24. He faces up to 13 years in jail if convicted on all counts. Bradley's attorney, Harland Braun, says his client denies the charges and contends that his wife made up the allegations.
The couple is currently separated and Bradley's wife has a restraining order against him. The couple have two children.
Bradley played 11 years with several ball teams but he's been a free agent since the Seattle Mariners released him in 2011.
