Kim Kardashian gushed about her pregnancy and pending divorce on the "Today" show on January 15.
Kardashian, 32, appeared on the morning talk show alongside sister Kourtney Kardashian and dished about her recent baby news, admitting that the idea of being pregnant is still sinking in.
"I think until I really start seeing a belly, it won't really sink in - It's just a weird realization. I think until you start seeing the physical changes, every day is different," the reality star told Savannah Guthrie. She added that she was unaware that West would be announcing the news. "He just kind of does what he feels. Once you're past the three-month part, you know, you're pretty safe. I'm due in July."
On December 30, 2012, it was announced that the reality starlet and hip-hop star Kanye West were expecting their first child together.
At a concert, the rapper announced to a crowd of more than 5,000 at the Ovation Hall at the Revel Resort in song form: "Now you having my baby."
Several of Kardashian's family members tweeted about the pregnancy, including Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian, who Tweeted: "Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!"
The television star also opened up about her pending divorce to NBA player Kris Humpries, whom she married in 2011, saying: "As much as I would like to be in a perfect world where I'm divorced, you can't plan for any of that."
The starlet also went on to talk about the possibility of marrying her current boyfriend, West.
"It's something that we talk about, but I think it's just right now [we're] focusing on the baby. What I've learned in life is -- I was always such a planner. You think your life is going to be a certain way, and the best surprises just happen when you don't plan. I'm just so content with how things are right now. We definitely want that in the future, but I'm not in a rush."
Kardashian, who recently bought a Bel Air mansion for $11 million with West, also opened up about something that she previously kept very private ... fertility issues.
"Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issues, and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens," she said. "That's an exciting moment, you can't plan for things like that. So I think it's just such a blessing knowing my circumstances."
On December 31, 2012, Kardashian posted a message on her official website which marked her first public comments since boyfriend West spilled the beans that the pair were expecting.
"It's true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby," Kardashian said. "We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo"
