Jenelle Evans is reportedly going to be a mother again.
The former "16 and Pregnant" star and "Teen Mom 2" star is expecting a child with husband Courtland Rogers, she confirmed on January 16. It will be the second child for 20-year-old Evans and her first with 27-year-old Rogers. Evans has a 3-year-old son named Jace from a previous relationship. It will also be the second child for Rogers, who has a daughter from a previous relationship.
"I missed a few birth control pills, and found out I was pregnant at a doctor's appointment," Evans told MTV Act. "I was really surprised."
"I know a lot of people will say we're not ready, or judge me from my past. I want to prove to everyone that I can do this," she added. "This wasn't planned, but it happened so we're taking it as we go. Courtland and I are happy and excited now. We have our own place, we're married, and we're both working. We know having a child can be difficult, but we're going to do our best."
The news was first reported by Radar Online. The two appeared to have reconciled since hitting a rough patch in late December when they began ranting about one another on Twitter. Rogers claimed Evans broke up with him because of a phone conversation with his ex-girlfriend and daughter.
Rogers later explained on January 1 on his Twitter account that the two did not break up, instead they just took a break.
"For the record I never broke up with jenelle we took a day break with our families to enjoy time with them I love her with all my heart (sic)," he Tweeted, adding: "Jenelle and I are happily married I don't know why the news said we were officially getting a divorce when clearly we are together lol."
Evans and Rogers wed on December 4 in a courtroom in Brunswick County, North Carolina.
