Ian Ebert, 26, was taken into custody Thursday at his home near Buena Park after police received a tip that he was involved in an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old from Irvine.
Police said Ebert met the girl while coaching club soccer and that the inappropriate contact occurred between August 2012 and December 2012.
Ebert has also coached soccer at two high schools in Irvine. He was arrested for two felony charges and his bail was set at $100,000.
